SUNY Oswego recently recognized several Delaware County residents as high academic achievers on its president’s list and deans’ list for the fall 2023 semester.

President’s list students are those attaining semester grade-point averages of 3.8 or higher while carrying required academic credits and include: Bryleigh A. Beauchat, Sidney, technology education; Lindsey M. Bolster, Hancock, human development; Michael D. Griswold, Delhi, broadcasting and mass communication; Layla B. Sprague, Walton, biology, physics; Kora J. Young, Sidney Center, studio art, theatre. Deans’ list students are those attaining semester grade-point averages between 3.3 and 3.79 while carrying required academic credits. Students on the deans’ list include: Brooke M. Gerace, Walton, childhood education; Niamh M. Walsh, Fleischmanns, illustration; Kaylee A. Weaver, Delhi, psychology.

Jessy Gardner, of Davenport Center, was one of 22 SUNY Oneonta students involved in the theatre department’s production of “Dead by Jack,” a “devised theatre” performance depicting the lives of the five women who were murdered by Jack the Ripper.
