DELHI -  W.I.D.E, Womxn for Inclusion, Diversity and Equity announce a  partnership with Sugar Hill Salon for an evening of Chamber Music at Bushel in Delhi, Monday, Feb. 13 at 7 p.m.  Sugar Hill Salon is a music collective from Harlem that centers on Black and Brown woodwind artistry in classical music. Their mission is to showcase wind repertoire that lacks representation within “traditional” chamber programming while uplifting Black and Brown musicians performing them.

As part of W.I.D.E’s ongoing mission to showcase diversity in the Catskills, Band Director Aimee Lindner, applied for a teacher’s grant. These grants offer teachers the opportunity to request funds for books, artists, speakers or even field trips that showcase or discuss diversity.

The evening performance is open to the public with tickets available at Eventbrite.com. They are $20 plus fees. This event is open to all and people can donate a ticket.
