The Catskill Mountain Club, in partnership with the Catskill Center, the NY-NJ Trail Conference, the NYSDEC, and other organizations and individuals – invites you to explore the Catskill Park and Region through a series of events. The Lark in the Park began in 2004 on the 100th anniversary of the Catskill Park. Every October since then, the public is encouraged to celebrate the Park’s many offerings by choosing from the assortment of Lark events posted at catskillslark.org.
This year, thanks again to enthusiastic volunteers, we have more than 30 events, ranging from modest outings to all-day adventures. Learn about Catskills history, sustainable use of our trails, or just go for a hike in the spectacular fall scenery. In most cases registration is required, so check them out now and make your reservations. Whatever you choose, you’re sure to enjoy being in the Catskills for the Lark in the Park.
