The Catskill Choral Society will hold auditions for new singers in preparation for a holiday concert to be presented Dec. 2 and 3 at the First United Methodist Church, Oneonta.
Chris Shields, president of the organization, said this will be the first holiday concert with full membership in three years, and the group will be performing accompanied by a brass ensemble.
Singers with some prior choral singing experience are preferred, plus talented high school and college age students.
Auditions will be held Thursday, Sept. 1, at the Unitarian Universalist Society Chapel, 12 Ford Ave., Oneonta, beginning at 5 p.m., by appointment only. Regular rehearsals are Thursday evenings from 7 p.m., and will begin Sept. 8.
