Audubon Society to Host 57th Annual Charter Dinner in Oneonta

ONEONTA - The Delaware-Otsego Audubon Society will hold its 57th Annual Charter Dinner on Friday, Oct. 17, at the Sixth Ward Athletic Club. The evening begins with a social hour at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:15 P.M. and a keynote at 7:30 P.M..

Julie Brown, director of the Hawk Migration Association, will deliver the keynote, focusing on migration data collected at Franklin Mountain and across North America, and what it reveals about raptor populations.

The event will include bird-themed raffle items and prizes. Tickets for the dinner raffle are available online and at the DOAS Open House on Franklin Mountain on Oct. 4; winners need not be present.

Dinner reservations cost $42 and must be made by Oct. 10 via the society’s website. The program will also be streamed free on Zoom.
