Audubon Society to Explore Birds and Climate Change; Virtual Talk March 20

Posted

ONEONTA - Delaware-Otsego Audubon Society will host a virtual presentation Friday, March 20, to examine how birds are adapting—or struggling—in a rapidly changing environment. Abby Kress, senior associate for community conservation programs at the Montezuma Audubon Center, will lead the discussion via Zoom at 7:30 p.m.

The talk will focus on the impact of climate change, habitat loss, and human activity on bird migration and populations. Kress will share insights from Montezuma’s wetlands and highlight ongoing conservation efforts, as well as practical steps individuals can take to support local bird populations.
