Adults seeking support in coping with grief can attend monthly drop-in sessions hosted by Helios Care at two locations this month.
The Clark Sports Center in Cooperstown will hold a session Thursday, March 12, from 1 to 2:30 p.m., and New Hope Community Church in Walton will host a session Thursday, March 19, from 2 to 3:30 p.m.
Open to all community members age 18 and older, the groups are facilitated by staff trained in grief and loss. Participants are provided a safe, confidential setting to explore the grieving process, address strong emotions, and share experiences with others.
There is no cost to attend, and drop-ins are welcome. Questions can be directed to Helios Care at 607-432-5525.
