4-H Camp Shankitunk, Delhi, is accepting applications for camperships (scholarships to attend camp) this summer.
There are several awards that are open to youth with varying eligibility requirements. Campership amounts range from a $25 discount to covering the complete cost of camp - $450.
There are campership opportunities for 4-H members, farm families, day camp youth, Counselor in Training candidates, and for youth who do not reside in Delaware County.
Youth must submit their application with a written statement on why they want to attend camp. Campership awards will be determined by the camp committee.
4-H Camp Shankitunk has been providing summer camp experiences for youth in Delaware County since 1927.
Don’t let the cost of camp prevent your child from experiencing camp. Children ages eight to 16 by Jan. 1, 2023 are eligible to attend overnight camp. Children ages six to 14 are eligible to attend day camp. Donations to the scholarship fund in any amount are welcome.
