Citizenship, scholastic achievement, and character building awards were presented to fourth and fifth grade students during an assembly at Walton’s Townsend Elementary School recently.
NEDs are special awards given each quarter to one person from each Townsend School fourth and fifth grade homeroom. They are awarded at the assembly and the surprises for the students selected. NED comes from a character building assembly that has been enjoyed by students and faculty for several years.
