Unadilla Auction Attendees Told To Watch For Symptoms

UNADILLA -- The Otsego County Department of Public Health sent out a notice Friday asking anyone who attended the livestock auction at Unadilla Livestock on May 16 to be aware they may have been exposed to the coronavirus.

Someone who attended that auction between 1:30 and 9:30 PM has tested positive for COVID-19. That person was not wearing a mask.

Anyone who was also at that site on that day is being asked to closely monitor themselves for symptoms until May 30, and should contact their primary health care provider or local public health officials to get a test.

Anyone who may know someone from the Amish community who may also have attended, but won't see this notice, is asked to let them know.

Otsego County had not had a new coronavirus case in 23 days. Delaware County reported three new cases yesterday.
