Two New Positive COVID Cases In Delaware County

DELHI – The latest COVID-19 numbers released Sunday by Delaware County Public Health Services indicates two new positive tests for the virus received from the state. That brings the total number of such cases to 32, with five of those reports transferred to the county where the patient actually is.

Four people have been discharged from the hospital, nine are hospitalized, and 13 are isolating at home. One person has died and the county is releasing no further information on any of the confirmed cases.

Another 47 people are in mandatory quaratine, nine are in precautionary quarantine, and 38 test results are still pending.

Otsego County announced five new confirmed cases on Sunday. bringing the total number of cases there to 29. One person has died from the virus in the county so far. Three are hospitalized and 110 are in mandatory or precautionary quarantine.

In his press conference earlier Sunday, Governor Andrew Cuomo indicated that the progress of the virus appears to be relatively flat upstate, slowing in New York City, but growing in Long Island and in New Jersey.
