Thomas J. Tracy Sr., 73, of Walton, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 26, 2018 at home in Walton.

Tom was born on Dec. 9, 1944, in Bronx, the son of the late Edward and Elizabeth (Daly) Tracy.

Tom was employed by Hasbrouck Heights Police Department as a police officer. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Walton Vets Clubs where he served as a Past President, The Shields, and the PBA Local 102 of N.J. In his spare time he enjoyed watching football and baseball, cheering on the Giants, Jets and Mets.

Tom is survived by his loving family: his son, Thomas “TJ” (Lisa) Tracy of Vermont; grandchildren Thomas, Victoria and Ellie; brother John (Patricia) Connors of New Jersey; Steven (Mary Jo) Tracy of Woodridge, N.J.; Amanda, Joseph, Jenna and Kevin (Donamarie) Richart; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his daughter, Diane Robin, brother James Tracy, and sister Joan Richart.

A prayer service was held on Thursday, March 29, at 2 p.m. at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street, Walton, with the Rev. Edward Golding, officiating.
