The Stamford Golf Club will once again host its annual Junior Golf Clinic from Monday, July 7, through Thursday, July 10, offering local students an opportunity to develop their skills under professional instruction.
The clinic, open to students ages 9 to 17, will take place daily from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the club’s course. The cost to attend is $55. Registration will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until capacity is reached.
Participants will spend the first three days rotating through instructional stations focused on driving, chipping, and putting. Each day will also include on-course playing time, during which students will be paired with a mentor. On the final day, students will compete in contests that test the skills practiced throughout the week.
All students will receive a complimentary T-shirt. Golf clubs will be provided for those who need them for the duration of the clinic. Lunch will be available for purchase at the club’s restaurant, or students may bring their own meals.
Parents interested in volunteering as mentors are encouraged to participate.
