Seward Moved Out of Intensive Care

ONEONTA – In a press release from his office, it was announced that Senator James Seward has been moved out of intensive care and is improving. Seward has been hospitalized at Albany Medical Center with COVID-19 and his wife, Cindy, who also has the virus, has been recovering at home. In the release, she expressed her appreciation to both the staff and the senator's constituents.

“Many, many constituents of the senator’s, colleagues, acquaintances, and others have expressed love, support and prayers during the past two weeks, and Cindy and the family are very thankful. The letters, e-mails, calls to the office, and expressions mean so much because the family has been unable, due to Cindy’s COVID-19 status, to be together.”

Mrs. Seward ended her note by asking people to take the virus seriously and observe all necessary precautions.
