DEPOSIT — Military personnel, first responders, and frontline medical professionals—along with their partners—are invited to take part in the 6th Annual Service Couples Fly-Fishing Experience, hosted by Friends of the Upper Delaware River (FUDR) and Trout Unlimited (TU). The event will take place from Sunday, June 8, through Saturday, June 14, offering participants an immersive retreat along one of North America’s premier wild trout fisheries.

Couples selected for the program will receive six nights of complimentary lodging at the West Branch Angler Resort in Deposit, N.Y. The experience includes four days of expert-led instruction, covering fly-fishing techniques, guided wade fishing, and float fishing on the Upper Delaware River. A rest day on Wednesday, June 11, allows time for exploring the region’s scenic trails, birding, or kayaking.

All fishing gear will be provided, and no prior experience is required. The program is open to couples in which at least one partner serves—or has served—in the military, fire, emergency medical services, law enforcement, or frontline medical fields. The event is designed as a gesture of appreciation, recognizing both the sacrifices of those who serve and the unwavering support of their partners.
