Roger P. Lynch

Roger Peter Lynch, born, Nov. 30, 1961 at Mount Sinai in New York City, passed away Aug. 6, 2021.

He is survived by his daughter, Nicole (Tyler) Huyck; two granddaughters, Emma and Abigail Huyck whom he loved unconditionally; as well as his brother, Timothy Lynch; sister-in-law, Emilienne Lynch; nieces, nephews, many cousins; and his cat, Baby.

Roger is predeceased by his parents, Howard and Dorothy Lynch; and his brother, James Lynch.

Roger spent most of his career as an electrician but has always been a man of many talents. If you needed something fixed, he would fix it to his OCD standards. Roger loved anything electronic and had to have the loudest speakers (and many of them) throughout his house and vehicles.

Music was a large part of Roger’s life but the one thing he loved more was any body of water. As a child, Roger used to spend all his free time with his uncles and cousins catching crabs and fishing in the ocean. The love for water never left him and he enjoyed water skiing and taking the boat out every chance he could.

Roger’s other hobbies included riding motorcycle, working on his Chevelle, and all his other “toys.”

Roger was always ready to tell a funny story and the laugh that came with it will be missed forever.

A memorial service will be held at the Treadwell United Methodist Church on Saturday, Aug. 21 at 11 a.m. with a reception to follow at Tyler and Nicole’s house in Treadwell.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Treadwell United Methodist Church or an animal shelter of your choice.

Arrangements are by the Kenneth L. Bennett Funeral Home, Franklin.
