DELHI – Another new COVID-19 case was reported to Delaware County on Saturday. County officials say they're still waiting for results from 20 tests, and 39 people are in mandatory quarantine.

Four people have died, two are still hospitalized, and 16 people are covering at home.

Governor Andrew Cuomo announced Saturday that independent pharmacies across the state will be allowed to collect samples to test for the virus. The new walk-in tests will be made available to first responders and essential workers first.

Four downstate hospitals will begin offering antibody testing to front line workers, and SUNY Downstate is being designated a COVID-only facility.

The number of new cases continued to drop statewide, but more than 400 more people died in New York because of the virus since Friday.
