ALBANY-- Governor Andrew Cuomo announced that New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut are issuing travelers advisories to anyone traveling into those states from areas with high numbers of COVID-19 cases. As of midnight Wednesday, anyone traveling from areas with infection rates above certain levels must quarantine themselves for two weeks once they arrive.

At this point, the governor's office says the advisory applies to Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, Florida, S. Carolina, N. Carolina, Utah, Texas and Washington.

Delaware County Tuesday announced a new confirmed case of the virus.
