New Delaware County COVID-19 Cases Announced

Public Health Officials Stress Primary Care Doc Is Your First Call

DELHI – Delaware County Public Health officials this morning announced there are now five confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the county, while three additional case investigations have been transferred back to their home counties.

Three of the local cases are hospitalized and in isolation – two are recovering at home.

The press release said that eight people are in mandatory quarantine, five are under precautionary quarantine. 88 people have been tested, 66 tests were negative and 14 are pending.

The department stressed that tests are extremely limited, and the number of current cases does not reflect the spread of the virus.
