Mark D. Cucciarre, 68, originally of Walton, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020, surrounded by family at his home in Souderton, Pa., following a brief illness.

Born on Jan. 26, 1952, in Walton, he was the son of Benjamin Cucciarre and the late Delores Hiller.

From 1971 to 1975, Mark served our country in the United States Air Force. Mark worked many years at Alfa Laval Corp in Pennsylvania. He loved the outdoors, hiking the Wissahickon and large parts of the Appalachian Trail. Mark was a fantastic cook and loved to feed family and friends. He had a deep relationship with God and was an important member of the Christian Apostolic Church of Fayetteville. Mark had a profound effect on people he came in contact with, from neighbors to healthcare workers and of course family and friends. The reach of his ability to help others with any type of mechanical, electrical or computer-related problem knew no bounds. Mark was the recipient of a heart transplant in 2006 and never lost sight of the incredible gift he was given. His passing leaves a huge hole in those who knew him and depended on his presence and knowledge. He is predeceased by his mother Delores and his beloved Aunt Ruth Cucciarre.

Mark is survived by his children Catherine Wheeler (Jason), Errica Cucciarre (Micheal McClenon), Anthony Cucciarre (Brittney Bates), Elizabeth Cucciarre and Rachele Cucciarre (Ryan Eldred); his father Benjamin Cucciarre, sisters Shirley Triffle, Pam Cucciarre, Judy Cucciarre, Connie Ruff and Rebecca Beardslee; five grandchildren: Arrisa, Cole, Ella, Jayden and Parker; his beloved cousins Jeff Cucciarre and JoAnn Vander Schaaf Cucciarre and their children Alex and Jessie, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling hours and services to which relatives and friends are invited to attend, will be held Saturday, Feb. 6, from 11-1 p.m. at the United Presbyterian Church, 58 East Street, Walton. Social distancing guidelines must be met, and face masks are required. Burial will be held at Walton Cemetery at a date and time to be announced in the spring.
