Lynn Kathleen Dougherty, 51, of Walton, was called to join the Lord in his work and holy embrace on April 5, 2022.

Born on June 8, 1970 in Poughkeepsie, daughter of loving parents Kent and Grace St. John. Lynn was a homemaker, mother and grandmother. Lynn graduated from Gilbertsville Central School in 1988. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Delhi.

Lynn had a love for American muscle cars, specifically her Camaro and Nova. Lynn was very artistic and enjoyed making jewelry and crafts, especially with her grandparents. Lynn made it a family tradition to paint demolition derby cars for the Delaware County Fair. She had a beautiful voice which she shared with many. She enjoyed collecting antiques, gems and minerals. Lynn had a strong love for animals.

Lynn never failed to light up a room with laughter. She feared nothing and was always optimistic, even during challenging times. She was always the strong one that never gave up. She loved and gave with all of her heart, especially to her family.

Lynn will be missed by her father and mother Kent and Grace St. John; her children Heather Hunter and husband Cyle, Jessica Dougherty and fiancé Damion, Dustin Dougherty and fiancé Rachael, stepson Andrew Dougherty and fiancé Aryn; seven grandchildren; siblings Jennifer Botbyl and husband Skip, Christian Brandt and wife Jennifer, Melissa O’Brien and husband Rob, Amanda Campbell and husband Paul, Guido Kuhn and wife Yari, Shane Brandt, Nicole Brandt, Kaina Hanna and husband Mike, Korri St. John and wife Priscilla; nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and many friends.

Lynn was predeceased by her beloved grandparents, aunts and uncle.

Private services and burial took place at Woodland Cemetery, followed by a memorial service at the Church of Jesus Christ of Letter-day Saints in Delhi.
