Lynda J. Axelrod, Greenville, S.C., passed from this life to the next on July 19, 2020. Lynda was born on Feb. 28, 1944, in Walton, the daughter of Reginald and Althea Grace Houck (nee Hunt). Lynda graduated from SUNY Delhi LPN program and had a passion for health and healing throughout her lifetime.
Lynda will be remembered for her spontaneous personality with a passion for living life to its fullest. She enjoyed surrounding herself with family and with friends of all walks of life always seeing each stage of life as an adventure to be embraced.
Surviving are daughter, Lynda Loraine “Lori” Irwin (Kenneth) of Inverness, Fla.; son, William O. Carroll II (Kathy) of Greene; and daughter Grace E. Earle (Robert) of Travelers Rest, S.C.; three grandsons, Joshua Carroll, Luke Carroll and Patrick Earle; a sister Roberta DeGroot and many nieces and nephews.
A private memorial will take place for her surviving children at a future date. At this time, her survivors remember her at their homes.
