General construction including modifications to existing leachate management systems and construction of a new 2.8-acre landfill including leachate collection system, pump stations, HDPE piping, manholes, stormwater management practices, and related work. The new landfill is adjacent to an existing closed cell and requires the excavation and relocation of municipal solid waste from the existing closed cell to an operating landfill cell on-site.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the resolution a summary of which is published herewith has been adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Walton, Delaware County, New York on the 4th day of October, 2021, and the validity of the obligations authorized by such resolution may be hereafter contested only if such obligations were authorized for an object or purpose for which the Village of Walton is not authorized to expend money, or the provisions of law which should have been complied with as of the date of publication of this notice were not substantially complied with, and an action, suit or proceeding contesting such validity is commenced within twenty (20) days after the date of publication of this notice, or such obligations were authorized in violation of the provisions of the constitution.

REFUNDING BOND RESOLUTION DATED OCTOBER 4, 2021. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF REFUNDING BONDS OF THE VILLAGE OF WALTON, DELAWARE COUNTY, NEW YORK IN AN AGGREGATE PRINCIPAL AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $3,200,000 PURSUANT TO THE LOCAL FINANCE LAW AND DELEGATING CERTAIN POWERS IN CONNECTION THEREWITH TO THE VILLAGE TREASURER.
Object or Purpose: the refunding of the $2,925,000 aggregate outstanding principal amount of the Village’s Water System (USDA) Bonds, 2013 maturing on and after June 1, 2022.
Period of Probable Usefulness of Object or Purpose for which Bonds to be Refunded were Originally Issued: forty (40) years.
Amount of Obligations to be Issued: not to exceed $3,200,000.
A complete copy of the refunding bond resolution summarized above is available for public inspection during normal business hours at the office of the Village Clerk located at 21 North Street in the Village of Walton, New York.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE
that there will be two public hearings prior to the regular Village of Hobart board meeting on Monday, October 18th at the Hobart Community Center, located at 80 Cornell Avenue, Hobart. The first public hearing will be at 5:30 p.m. to discuss the necessity of a police officer in the Village of Hobart. The second public hearing will be at 6:00 p.m. to discuss cannibas-related businesses within the Village of Hobart.
