General construction including modifications to existing leachate management systems and construction of a new 2.8-acre landfill including leachate collection system, pump stations, HDPE piping, manholes, stormwater management practices, and related work. The new landfill is adjacent to an existing closed cell and requires the excavation and relocation of municipal solid waste from the existing closed cell to an operating landfill cell on-site. THE VILLAGE OF SIDNEY will receive sealed bids for Sodium Fluoride, Sodium Hypochlorite (12.5%) solution delivered to the Village of Sidney. The quantities of material to be furnished are estimated to be 3,900 pounds Sodium Fluoride, 7,200 gallons Sodium Hypochlorite for the period of June l, 2021 to May 31, 2022, but the Village does not guarantee the purchase of this quantity. Specifications are available at the office of the Village Clerk.
Sealed bids, on forms provided by the Village, will be received until 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at the Sidney Civic Center, 21 Liberty Street, Sidney, New York 13838.

VILLAGE OF WALTON, DELAWARE COUNTY
2021 CFA APPLICATION FOR OFFICE OF COMMUNITY RENEWAL
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM FUNDS
The Village of Walton will hold a hearing on July 6, 2021 at 6:00 PM, at the Walton Village Hall, 21 North Street, Walton, New York 13856 for the purpose of hearing public comments on the Village of Walton’s community development needs, and to discuss the possible submission of one or more Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) applications for the 2021 Program Year.
The CDBG program is administered by the New York State Office of Community Renewal (OCR), and will make available to eligible local governments approximately $49 million for the 2021 program year for housing, economic development, public facilities, public infrastructure, and planning activities, with the principal purpose of benefitting low/moderate income persons. The hearing will provide further information about the CDBG program and will allow for citizen participation in the development of any proposed grant applications and/or to provide technical assistance to develop alternate proposals. Comments on the CDBG program or proposed project(s) will be received at this time. The hearing is being conducted pursuant to Section 570.486, Subpart I of the CFR and in compliance with the requirements of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended.
At the hearing the Village will describe types of grant assistance available from the NYS Office of Community Renewal and will seek comments and suggestions from the public as to proposed uses of Community Development Block Grant funds. The types of activities that may be undertaken with Community Development Block Grant program funds include acquisition and disposition of real property, public facilities and improvements, clearance activities, public services, payment of non-federal share of another federal program, removal of architectural barriers, relocation, rehabilitation and preservation activities, economic development and job creating activities.
Draft application(s) for Community Development Block Grant assistance will be discussed. The Village is considering a 2021 CFA Public Infrastructure application in an amount not to exceed $1,000,000 to rehabilitate segments of the wastewater treatment plant to ensure SPDES permit compliance and increase overall facilities efficiency. The proposed project will primarily benefit low and moderate income persons.
