Lance M. Johnson

Lance M. Johnson, 40, of Oneonta passed away Sunday evening, Feb. 13, 2022, as a result of injuries due to an MVA on Rte. 365 in the town of Westmoreland. 

Lance was born on Aug. 16, 1981, in Oneonta the son of the late Ralph K. and Joanne (Gray) Johnson. He was a graduate of Walton Central School, class of 2000. He was employed as a medical courier.

Lance was a big man with a big heart who couldn’t do enough for anyone in need. He challenged himself to do his very best and then put his mind to do it. He was a gamer with X Box, paint ball, 4 wheelers, and fishing. His great love was the discipline of Tae Kwon-Do and reaching for his black belt which he was working for, these last few years. 

Lance is survived by his loving family, his brothers, Dwayne (Jennifer) Johnson and Joseph (Kelly) Johnson, both of Walton; nephews Joshua, Garrett and Shay, and aunt and uncle, Debra and Jim Constable and Willard Cole, good friends, Mike and Tonya Maching,  Matt Goodrich, Julina Nedelle, Kyle Pierce and Rik Smits and several cousins. 

He was predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Joanne and his aunt and uncle, Sandra and Jim Gray.
