Juanita Snyder

Juanita Marjorie (Bowker) Snyder, born Jan. 25, 1924, to Daisy Iona Biesmer Bowker and Joseph Edward Bowker of Walton, passed away on April 18, 2018.

She was predeceased by her husband, William Snyder, her daughter, Earline and son, David.

She leaves her sons, Joseph Edward Kellam Sr. and his wife Suzanne of Huntington, Mass., and Paul Kellam and wife Melody of Savannah.

Juanita spent her life in New York state and resided there with her husband William for most of their married life together. Juanita and Bill were married over fifty years and enjoyed their retirement years camping and visiting family and friends in Florida, and making frequent trips together riding their Harleys to visit family in Huntington, Mass. Juanita eventually retired to Huntington, Mass., after 22 years of employment with General Electric. Juanita leaves behind 20 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to her devoted caregivers Lori Silbaugh, Tiffany Ford, and the staff at the Huntington Family Health Center, in particular Dr. Cheung and Nurse Margaret. A private graveside service will be held in Savannah, New York.
