Joseph L. Schlosser Sr., 78, of Walton, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2022 at home in Walton, following a short illness.
Joseph was born on July 18, 1943 in Brooklyn, the son of the late Lawrence and Mildred (Emmetsberger) Schlosser Sr. He married Lillian E. Stark on Oct. 13, 1962 at Brooklyn. She died July 24, 2018.
He proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1962. He was employed by Northeast Fabricators, Walton, for many years. Joseph was a jack of all trades who enjoyed “fiddling” in his garage workshop. He loved the outdoors, watching the many animals and birds that came to visit on his property.
He is survived by his children Ann Schlosser and Joseph L. Schlosser Jr., granddaughter Melissa E. Sosa; great-grandchildren Juan “Monk” Sosa-Martinez and Barrett Jester III, and great-great granddaughter, Delilah Rose Sosa-Martinez; sister Patricia and Ken Kaufhold and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by a brother Lawrence Schlosser Jr.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
