John Franklin Wilson, 94, long-time resident of Glen Cove, passed away on July 19, 2021.

Visitation was Saturday, July 24 at Bradley & Son Funeral Home, Chatham, N.J.  A service followed at the funeral home.

John was born on June 23, 1927 to George and Effie Means Wilson in Delhi, where he was a student at Delaware Academy. After serving in the United States Navy, he attended Cornell University, graduating in 1952, and remained a life-long, faithful alumnus. He worked as an electrical engineer for Sperry/Unisys for 40 years. John married Annis Thompson, known to all as Bee, on June 4, 1955 in Hempstead, before moving to Glen Cove where they raised their four sons and lived for over 60 years. John and Bee avidly enjoyed travel, camping, boating and skiing. They had a special love for vacationing on Lake George and were also longtime members of the Hempstead Harbor Club in Glen Cove.

John is survived by his beloved wife, Bee, sons John, George, Thomas and Robert and their spouses Jane, Susan, Gloria and Kirsten, along with grandchildren John, Brian, Jenna, Jennifer and Roger, and great-grandchildren Carter and Macy.
