James “Jim” Young, 61, a longtime resident of Walton, passed away peacefully, on Nov. 6, 2020 at home with Carolyn, Stacey, and Jimmy by his side.
Born June 28, 1959, in Walton, he was a son of the late Donna Aeppli. Jim dedicated 25 years to Bard Parker in Hancock, and 17 years to Amphenol in Sidney. He raised his children and built his family home on East Brook, next to his beloved Grandmother, Florence. Jim was a lawn mowing perfectionist, corn-hole enthusiast, lover of music, grill master/rib aficionado, and the vice president of HMF. Most importantly, Jim was a family man, devoted to his wife and kids. His best days were spent with family and friends barbecuing under his pavilion and having a few beers, laughing, and listening to music. #LikeARock.
Jim is survived by his wife Carolyn; children Jimmy, Stacey, and Jessica; granddaughters Kylie, Emmalee, and Victoria; sister Lorri Williams; aunt Jean Yarter; and niece Stephanie Snyder (Josh).
In addition to his mother, he is predeceased by an Uncle Curt Yarter.
