Remembering the life of Robert G. Jensen (Bob) of Downsville, who passed away on February 14, 2021. He was 88. The son of the late Otto and Alice Jensen, he was born November 16, 1932 in Rutherford, New Jersey. He was a devoted father to his four sons, and a beloved father-in-law, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Bob had been a member of the Passaic County Carpenters Union Local 124 before retiring and moving to the Catskills. He was an avid bowhunter and throughout his life enjoyed many hunting trips with family and friends. Bob was a friend to everyone on the mountain. He was predeceased by his wife, Hilary. He is survived by his sister Marilyn and brother-in-law Jack; his four boys, Robert Jr. and wife, Denise; Brian and wife, Susan; Bruce and wife, Joyce; and John; two grandchildren, Melinda Jensen and Gregory Jensen and wife, Caitlin; and great-granddaughter, Daisy Hilary. All who loved and adored him continue to miss him.
