Gladys B. Fairbairn, age 86, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 23, at her Andes, home. She was known for her love of animals, gardening, canning, baking and quilting. As her family grew, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren filled her life with love and joy.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 28, at the Advent Christian Church, 109 Maple Street, Margaretville.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Hynes Funeral Home, Margaretville.
