Dude Thomas Bartolillo of Downsville died Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2024 at his home. He was 49.
The son of Roxanne Mills Bartolillo and the late Henry Thomas Bartolillo, he was born June 19, 1975 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
Dude as his name implies was one of a kind. If you were lucky enough to know Dude, you never forgot him. He was a very sociable person who always remained positive and upbeat. He loved his family, animals, gardening and the Green Bay Packers. Dude served as an alter boy at the Holy Family and St. Mary’s Churches in Downsville and attended Lake Delaware Boys Camp. He was a member of the James S. Moore Post Sons of the American Legion and a member of the American Diabetes Association.
Survivors include his mother, Roxanne Bartolillo and her companion Michael Barnes of Downsville; his daughter, Angelina Bartolillo of Mansfield, Mass.; two sisters, Grace Bartolillo of Downsville and Berry Bartolillo of Tahoe City, Ca.; his stepmother, Wonda Townsend of Henderson, NV; and his aunts and uncles, James Mills (Goldie), Terry Allen, Mickey McClenon (Pat), Tracey Wilson, Mildred Griffin (James), Bart Bartolillo (Patti) and Michael Bartolillo.
A funeral mass will be Thursday, Sept, 12, 2024 at 11 a.m. in St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, Main Street, Downsville. Reverend Paul Moore will officiate. Burial will follow in the Paige Cemetery, Downsville.
