David Poulin, 59, of Beaufort, S.C., died suddenly Monday, June 15, 2020. He was born Nov. 2, 1960 in Oceanside Long Island to William and Betty Poulin who survive him and reside in Walton.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Poulin and his only child, Nigel Poulin, age 10. David was the eldest sibling of four and is also survived by Kelly Alvarez (Maryland), Kim Sherman (Vermont) and Scott Poulin (Arizona). David was a lifelong storyteller through bronze sculpture work and had a strong commitment to his community as an educator.
A scholarship has been established in memory of Dave’s passion for learning and higher education: Dave Poulin Memorial Scholarship for High School Career and Technical Education Students from either New York or South Carolina.
