David A. Smith of Pittsburgh, Pa., passed away peacefully in his sleep on Feb. 2, 2022.
David was born on April 28, 1968, in Montclair, N.J.
David was known for his vast musical talents, and as a talented front man for multiple bands throughout his life. He loved the band Rush and shared a great bond and brotherhood with his bandmates from Distant Signals.
In the last years of his life David found great joy in helping others and is remembered fondly by many in the Pittsburgh area.
He is survived by his son Viktor, mother Judy Ziemba Smith, sisters Deborah Rogers, Jennifer Smith, Dawn Wilson, and Jillian Boots. He also is survived by several nieces and nephews, four uncles and their families.
