Justin T. Valk, 46, Davenport, was arrested on Aug. 5 and charged with second-degree manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide, following an Aug. 1 incident at Pine Cliff Circle in Davenport.
Troopers were dispatched to a medical event where Stephanie J. Valk, 47, of Davenport, was transported to a local hospital for medical care and was pronounced dead at the hospital on Aug. 3.
Trooper say Justin Valk was aware that Stephanie Valk was suffering from a medical event, inflicted additional physical harm, and failed to call for medical assistance.
Valk was a remanded to the Delaware County Jail on $30,000 cash bail or $75,000 bond.
