DELHI – The Delaware County Department of Public Health announced Saturday that there are three new positive cases of COVID-19 reported to them by the state. That brings the total locally to 30, with five of the results transferred to the actual counties where the patients are. Three patients have been discharged, 12 are isolating at home, while nine are hospitalized. One person has died due to the virus in Delaware County.

Mandatory quarantine orders have been issued to 45 people, while nine more are in precautionary quarantine. A total of 223 people have been tested.

In Otsego County, there are also three new cases, bringing that county's total to 24 confirmed cases. One, presumably State Senator James Seward, remains hospitalized, but the county does not release names.

Seward, as of yesterday, was still hospitalized as his wife recovers from the virus at home.

Three people have recovered, one woman has died.

The county is reportedly preparing an online map to show the virus' location.

Broome County already has such a map. The website indicates 62 confirmed cases, ten more than the last report, and four dead.

In Schoharie County, the last report indicates 11 cases, 36 people in quarantine, and 58 people released from quarantine.

Sullivan County has 188 cases and has had five virus-related deaths, while Ulster County reports 318 cases and four dead.
