County Posts State Business Guidelines

Posted

DELHI – As the Friday reopening milestone approaches, businesses in Delaware County and Otsego County are expected to have plans in place that show compliance with the state's public health guidelines. But the specificis of what those plans must be is still being refined.

On Thursday, Empire State Development created a plan template for each of the five categories of business eligible to reopen, guidelines which also apply to any essential businesses which have remained open through the public health emergency.

Each business owner will have to not only have a written business safety plan, but will have to affirm to the state that they have reviewed and complied with the state requirements.

A full guide is available on several websites, including the county webpage at www.co.delaware.ny.us/wordpress/, the Delaware County Economic Development website at www.dcecodev.com/, or the New York site at forward/ny/gov/industries-reopening-phase.
