This weekend, The College Players at SUNY Delhi will bring the musical Grease to local audiences with four show times: Friday, Dec. 2, at 7 p.m.; Saturday, Dec. 3, at 7 p.m.; and Sunday, Dec. 4, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. in the Okun Theater on the SUNY Delhi campus. The events are open to the public. Admission is free.
Set in 1959 at fictional Rydell High School, Grease follows ten working-class teenagers as they navigate the complexities of peer pressure, politics, personal core values, and love.
The show contains mature themes and may not be suitable for all audiences.
The College Players is a forum for SUNY Delhi students to learn different types of acting as well as crew skills. Students are largely responsible for building the set and sourcing the costumes and props.
