Cidery donates $1,300 to fire tower project

Wayside Cider, Andes, recently donated over $1,300 to the Bramley Mountain Fire Tower project. The money came from proceeds on the sales of Mugwort Dream Cider.

Every year, Wayside Cider dedicates one of their ciders to a local charity. This year, cider maker Theresa Ferringo chose to dedicate her original creation, Mugwort Dream, to the Bramley Mountain Fire Tower. Ferringo enjoys hiking on the Bramley Mountain Trail and looks forward to having a fire tower at the end of the trail.

President of the Friends of Bramley Mountain Tower Ann Roberti said the cider that Ferringo created was terrific and that the group is grateful for the generous donation.

The Friends of Bramley Mountain Fire Tower continue work on the project and will be lining up an alternative partner for the project.
