Catherine Alice VanCanagan, age 91, of Beverly, Mass., Sayville and Walton, joined her Creator and Savior on July 31, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Kapp and Caroline Christiansen; her brother, Kenneth Kapp; and her son Robert Golden. She is survived by her beloved husband Jim VanCanagan; her daughter, Suzanne (Frank) Kinzie of Beverly, Mass; her grandchildren Michelle Kinzie of Chicago and Frank Kinzie IV of Waltham, Mass.; and her brother William (Carolyn) Kapp of Alpharetta, Ga.
She spent the past few months in the excellent care of the Ledgewood Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center in Beverly.
Internment will be at the Walton Cemetery Association, August 12 at 10 AM.
Catherine was a devout Christian and ordained minister. She was trained in the ministry and doctrine of Divine Healing. She had many friends and was a generous and kind soul. She brightened the lives of all that she encountered. She loved horses and cooking. May she rest in peace. We will all miss her dearly.
