Byron H. Vitch, of Roscoe, a retired self-employed carpenter and a long time area resident, died Friday, Sept. 24, 2021 at his home. He was 53.
The son of Margery Pratt Vitch and the late Raymond H. Vitch Jr., he was born Dec. 31, 1967 in Annapolis, Md.
Byron was a member of the Son’s of the VFW in Pine Island, Fla.
Survivors include his mother, Margery W. Vitch, of Powhaton, Va.; a sister, Andrea P.V. Dorsey, of Powhaton, Va.; a nephew, Justin J. Dorsey, of Powhaton, Va; two half-sisters, Vanessa Shields and Amber Rae Vitch; a half-brother, Anthony Vitch; and several cousins and friends.
Graveside services will be in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Livingston Manor, at a later date.
Memorial contributions in Byron’s name may be made to a local food pantry of one’s choice.
