Anita L. Salvante, 81, of Downsville, passed away Friday evening, April 15, 2022 at Delhi Rehabilitation and Nursing Center following a long illness.
Anita was born May 3, 1940 in Jamaica, Queens, the daughter of the late John and Catherine (Boertlein) Zupetz. On May 28, 1960, she married Fred Salvante.
Anita was a big NY Mets fan, and watched as many games as she could. She was a member of the Colchester Senior Citizens.
She is survived by her husband, Fred, one daughter, Catherine (Richard) Grande of Brooklyn, and two sons, Christopher (Donna) Salvante of South Carolina and John Salvante of Santa Rosa.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
