Adin Joseph Miller, N2WDV, 91, of Walton, fell asleep in death on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2020.

Adin was born in 1929 in Millburn, N.J., to the late Joseph Nathaniel and Mabel Alice (Little) Miller.

As a young man, Adin moved to the Lake Owassa section of Sussex County, N.J. Here he met and married his beloved wife, Beatrice L. Tooker.

Adin enjoyed working on his farm in Walton, and was an avid Amateur Radio code operator. He was a member and past president of the Walton Amateur Radio Association, a member of the Sons of the American Revolution and former section warden with the New Jersey Forest Fire Service. Adin was a founding member and first president of the Blue Ridge Rescue Squad in Frankford Township, N.J.

Survivors include his wife, Beatrice Miller; three sons, Joseph A., Douglas E. and Clayton J.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brother, Harry L. Miller, formerly of DeLand, Fla.

Calling hours will take place on Friday, Nov. 6, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street, Walton. Burial will take place at Branchville Cemetery in Branchville, N.J. at the convenience of the family.
