The adventures are great in New York state! Spring is here, and it’s time to find your adventure. Now that the days are longer and warmer, why not try something new? Hiking, biking, horseback riding, rock climbing, camping, rafting, boating, fishing - the possibilities are endless. While the weather is warming up, check out the outdoor adventures page on ILOVENY.com for ideas. DECinfo Locator (dec.ny.gov/maps/interactive-maps/decinfo-locator) is another great resource to find outdoor recreation destinations. (Use on a desktop computer.) Outdoor adventures are for everybody and every body - there’s something available for you too. We have a list of accessible recreation destinations - check out any facility’s webpage for information on accommodations that you and your group may need.

Licensed guides are individuals over the age of 18 who offer services for hire, part or all of which includes directing, instructing, or aiding another in fishing, hunting, camping, hiking, whitewater rafting, canoeing, kayaking, or rock and ice climbing.
