Delaware Academy community forum on capital project April 9

Delaware Academy will hold a capital project community forum regarding the proposed physical education and athletic fields improvements April 9 at 6 p.m. in the high school library. Representatives from Highland Associates, Schoolhouse Construction Management, Appel Osborne Landscape Architects & Engineers, Clark Companies, the board of education, school administration and student leaders will attend. There will be a brief informational presentation, followed by opportunities for questions and comments. Questions may be submitted in advance via the link on the school website’s Capital Project Planning page, or be submitted at the event.

The special election and vote on the bond proposition for the capital project will be Tuesday, April 16, from noon to 8 p.m. Voting will be in the middle school gymnasium lobby. Current residents who have lived in our school district boundaries for at least 30 days and are at least 18 years of age are eligible to vote with proper identification or proof of residence.
