Walton defeated Delhi 63-41 and had a great time during the competition according to Walton Assistant Chief Trent Wood.

“Proceeds will go towards the Fireman’s Association for necessities,” he said.

He added that the fund raiser started initially four years ago when a young girl in the Delhi community had cancer.

“It was a great turnout then,” he said. “So, we decided to keep on doing it.”

He said once again, the evening was a success and said it’s important to support your local fire departments.

“Imagine if there was no one around when you needed help,” he said, simply.
