Unatego’s Jacob Haqq A Standout In Windsor Track Meet

It was a good day to be Unatego’s Jacob Haqq. The junior had two of top-five finishes for the boys at Windsor. Haqq had a pair of second-place finishes and a fourth-place finish too. In the 200 meters, Haqq clocked a time of 23.68 to take second. He finished second in the triple jump with a distance of 45’ 6.5”. In the long jump he finished 20’ 9.25” and placed fourth.

Sidney’s Liam Matthews stood out and took first place for his team - the only first place team for the Warriors’ squad. He lifted to a height of 11’ 6” to take first place in the pole vault.

Bainbridge Guilford Afton Harpursville (BGAH) Nick Petrutoni competed in the 100 meters who tallied a time of 11.72 in the final.

Walton junior Morgan Condon placed second in the 400 hurdles with a time of 59.57. In the 110 hurdles, he took sixth in 17.12.

Unatego’s Aidan Cutting took second in the steeplechase with a time of 10:12.23. He placed sixth place in the 1,600 meters, finishing in 4:38.16.

For Sidney, Jonathan McNamara took eighth in the high jump at 5’ 6”. Warrior teammate Kevin McEwan took sixth in the shot put with a distance of 41’ 7.25”.
