Condolences to the Morse and Tubbs family at the tragic passing of Aaron Tubbs.

Congratulations to Rob and Pisey Klueg at the birth of Treadwell Fernweh Klueg.

I had the privilege of serving as a juror for the New York State Supreme Court all last week. Walking into the courthouse was like a step back in time, except for the electronic security equipment. As it so happened, while waiting to be interviewed, I glanced up and saw the picture of Judge Abraham L. Kellogg and felt right at home. As I sat there, I recognized the significance of all legal proceedings happening in our corner of the world where citizens who serve as jurors have a small part of making history. Yes, serving as a juror made a dent in my schedule and plans had to be changed, but it was a great experience to learn and to participate in the judicial system knowing we have a right to be the plaintiff, the defendant or the juror. Makes me want to go back to school and become a lawyer. Thank you to my fellow jurors, too.
