Three Election Inspectors

Absentee Ballots
Applications for absentee ballots are available to
Delaware Academy Central School District at Delhi
residents from the office of
the Clerk of the District during regular business hours
of (8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.).
All absentee ballot applications must be received by
the District Clerk no later
than August 2, 2018 if the
ballot is to be mailed to the
voter or by August 8, 2018
if the ballot is to be delivered personally to the voter.
A list of persons to whom
absentee ballots have been
issued will be available for
inspection in the District
Clerk’s office during each
of the five days prior to the
day of the election, except
Saturdays and Sundays,
and the same list also will
be posted at the polling
place. Any qualified voter
may, upon examination of
such list, file a written challenge of qualifications as a
voter of any person whose
name appears on such list,
stating the reason for the
challenge. Such list shall
also be posted in a conspicuous place during the
election, and any qualified
voter may challenge the acceptance of the absentee
voter’s ballot or a person on
such voter’s ballot or a person on such list, by making this challenge and the

reasons for such challenge
known to the inspectors of
election before the close of
the polls.

Specifications for new roof
on Town Municipal Building, 129 North Street, Walton, New York 13856.
It is the intent of these
specifications to describe
roof redesign and or replacement of the Town of
Walton Municipal Building.
The two-story portion to be
referred to as the “Upper
Roof”, and the single-story
portion to be referred to as
the “Lower Roof” and will
include walkway to garage.
The garage roof is excluded from this bid request.
Upper Roof:
1. This roof was replaced
in 2006 with 30- year laminated shingles. Will only
need to be tied into the
Lower Section as needed.
Lower Roof:
1. To determine the best
means to reconstruct
the roof pitch to ensure
that leaks cease over
the boardroom, Justice
chambers, kitchen and
bathrooms.
2. Consideration will be
made on roofing material
used that will best serve
the need and cost effectiveness. 3. All material will be installed to meet code
General:
1. Town will provide receptacle for debris and pay
tipping fees.
2. Insurance certificate to
be included with bid proposal. 3. Non-collusion form to
be included with bid proposal. Form provided by
Town.
4. All construction material
and debris will be cleaned

up daily.
5. Use of parking lot will be
limited and safety barrier
will be placed to protect
the safety of customers
during business hours.
Contractor:
1. Contractor shall be responsible for the repair of
any and all damage due
to contractor negligence.
2. This is a prevailing wage
job and certified payrolls
will be required. A PRC
#2018002306 - General
Maintenance has be issued. 3. All work must be completed by October 31,
2018.
There will be a contractor
walk through scheduled for
August 2, 2018 at 8:00 a.m.
The Walton Town Clerk,
Ronda Williams, will accept
bids until 11:00 a.m. on
August 9, 2018 when they
will be publicly opened and
read. The lowest responsible bidder will be presented
to the Walton Town Board
for approval on August 13,
2018. Any proposal without an insurance certificate
and non-collusion form
will be rejected. Additionally, any proposal that does
not meet the specifications
of this proposal will be rejected.
