CVCS to Host Relay For Life Friday

Photo Courtesy of Andes Central School Charlotte Valley Central School, Route 23, Davenport, will host its Relay For Life, an effort to raise money for the fight against cancer, on Friday, April 13.

The public is welcome from 6 p.m. until the end of the luminary ceremony, which begins at 9 p.m. Luminarias in honor or memory of someone may be purchased for $5.

Activities and entertainment include games, a lip-sync battle, food, bake sale, basket raffle and more.

Hair donations (a minimum of eight inches) at 7 p.m. will benefit Pantene Beautiful Lengths.

Donations benefit the American Cancer Society and are included in the Relay For Life of Delaware County’s total. Help the students reach $100,000 raised in 11 years.
